We are a not-for-profit, charitable organization in India committed to the welfare of animals, birds and other species. We respect animals as individuals with their own needs and preferences, rather than seeing them as mere parts of ecosystems. But this approach demands a richer understanding of animals’ lives. We want to take a proactive approach to managing the welfare benefits, threats, and uncertainties that are inherent to complex natural and urban environments. Yet, to take action safely, we must conduct research to understand the impacts of our actions. The transdisciplinary perspective of wild animal welfare draws upon ethics, ecology, and animal welfare science to gather the knowledge we need, facilitating evidence-based improvements to animals’ quality of life.
There are millions of homeless street animals in India that are dreaming about the day that they will find their forever home. Our foundation primarily works with Indian rescue groups to provide safe transport in order to make these dreams come true. If you are interested in making an animal a permanent part of your family, please contact us. We will review your application and get back to you as soon as possible.
We strive to be the leader in the animal welfare movement, through compassion, innovative rescue methods, and transformative educational seminars.
Our goal is to give back to the society in form of animal welfare. We aim to give a second chance to the street animals and enrich their lives by helping them getting adopted to loving homes.
Help us, so that we can help them!
All over the world animals are neglected, mistreated, abused and killed inhumanely. We aim to improve the situation for animals in the long-term i. e. by providing veterinary care, supporting animal sanctuaries and through our educational work. Therefore, we cooperate with local partner organisations and involve the people who are directly concerned. The organization advocate saving animals from cruelty and depletion. Organization team includes rescue workers, veterinarians, policy experts, campaigners, scientists, educators, and the highest quality support staff all driven by a determination to help animals in need. The organization also have a strong local level network which supports them to fulfill the vision and mission of Ayaansh Welfare Trust for animal welfare.
The prime objectives of the organization are: "To promote the kindness and prevent or suppress cruelty to animals." To successfully implement the above objectives Ayaansh Welfare Trust provides excellent medical facilities. Despite the trials and tragedies of last year, your support and determination gave millions of animals a better life, and turned a year of challenge into lasting change. Our vision is a world where animals live free from suffering - together we can move the world for animals. We move the world to protect wild animals – and keep them in the wild. We are a non-profit charity organization working for the benefit of mute & innocent animals. The NGO is involved in a wide spectrum of animal welfare activities, having more concentration on free onsite medical and surgical treatments for strays. We provides hands-on assistance to animals in need, whether it’s dogs and cats, wildlife and livestock, or rescuing animals in the wake of disasters.
We aim at improving the situation for animals in long term i. e. by providing veterinary care, by supporting animal sanctuaries and through our educational work. Every single donation helps! We are highly committed to improve the living conditions of animals in the long-term. With that in mind we chose our projects and our partners according to clear guidelines.
Organization’s work connects animal welfare and conservation, demonstrating that healthy populations, naturally sustaining habitats and the welfare of individual animals are intertwined. Also, use their hands-on projects on the ground to inform and influence policy. The management and staff of the Ayaansh Welfare Trust are sensitive to the needs of communities and work for solutions that benefit both animals and people.
You can volunteer to foster animals from the shelter. We cannot emphasize enough how important fostering is. It can make a difference of life and death since shelters can be high risk zones of infections. It can also save two lives at once. One of the dog/pup/kitten you have taken under your care, and second of the animal that we are able to accept at the shelter because of the space created. The minimum foster period we require is two weeks.
The longer the better because moving an animal from home to home can be disorientating and confusing for the animal. We would like to point out here that fostering needs a string heart. You need to be able to stay a little detached from the animal you take under your wing else there can be a lot of heart break lying ahead for you. But it is all worth it at the end – because there is no greater satisfaction than in being able to contribute towards saving a life.
